Can someone help me out with a desk top program

So I’m trying to carve this Harley sign.
In the 2D view, the birds toes are grabbing the Harley sign.
But in the 3D view the toes are cut off.
Any help is appreciated.

Check layering. Claws should be at the top layer to prevent the under layers from carving over/through them. Send me a link I can verify it for you.
