I installed 2 new fonts (Alegrya SC and Carrois Gotic SC)
Tried to press the letter I and then then letter E - got nothing
tried a different letter and then erased it - then I got the I or E
After pressing the I and the E the word “text” was pined - and i could not erase it

This sounds like an issue I was having… Shortcut keys were working like I had my Ctrl key pressed, selecting and stacking was acting funky. It took restarting my computer to fix it.
