Really nice work. 
I like the fact you not only have the design for the brass but also for the shaping mold.
If you have access to a propane torch, you can heat the brass to a high heat, cool and then shape in the mold. The heating, or annealing, makes the material much softer for shaping. Polishing and sanding it will harden it up again.
