Bit size for high detail stl files

Hi what bit size should I use for high detail stl files found on ebay?

I may be wrong, but I believe 1/8" ball nose and 1/16" ball nose bits are the preferred bits…

It all depends on the level of detail and the size of the carving.

High detail small carvings I use a tapered ballnose with a 0.5 or 0.25 mm radius tip…larger carves/less detail I use a 1mm or 2mm tapered ballnose.

I used a 1/32 ball nose for the seahorse I did.
