Do folks have a belt maintenance schedule they use for checking their belts/general maintenance? I have several snap lately in carve (Tension with Fish scale set to 4 lb 15 oz at one inch). How long do you expect your belts to last?
I’d try lower tension. I’m at just over 4 lbs and no issue.
