Lots of people are upgrading their firmware and don’t think to back up their grbl parameters.
Always back up your parameters before doing a firmware change.
It’s not a bad idea to back up the settings after you have your machine working the way you want it to work, because you will forget to back up the parameters before doing a firmware change.

Good point Larry but as happens too late for me. Does anyone have an idea of how long the firmware update takes? All I have is an ant circle and the text uploading firmware.
