Average cut times?

Curious to see what the average cut time is? I’m trying to weigh whether or not I want to do a 2 bit cut…2 hours versus 4 for a small difference.

I have it set here to cut with a 1/8 bit on birch plywood with the recommended cut settings…the final project will likely be on some soft maple.

I usually do with the 1/8 bit 55-60 feed rate and .055 - 06 depth per pass and with the 1/16 bit, 45 and .045. my projects turn out good most of the time. With those 2 bits with the settings that I told you, you looking at 1:30 + 37 minutes.

I would suggest reversing your carve. Much faster and easier to paint
