I’ve recently taken up a mentoring post with the ‘Chicago Knights’ Robotics Team #1739. We were hoping to find a Chicago based X-Carve owner/user, who could spare a few hours to teach team members how to use the X-Carve.

Hi, this is Jackie Moore, team lead for the Chicago Knights. Our teens could use the onsite guidance of a local X-Carve user to help with the last 10% of the build of our upgraded X-Carve. We had hoped to use it for the FIRST Robotics Competition which begins January 9, 2016. While help anytime is appreciated, December 28th or 29th would be ideal as our teens will be together then for our 2 day retreat and can work on it anytime.

Thank you so much for commenting.

As I’m in the UK, and Chicago Knights are based in the US, our team would love to find someone local who could assist with the final stages of construction, and to give some advice on using the X-Carve on real world projects.

As far as the upgrades go…I’ll hand that question over to Jackie.
