Animal head plaques

Has anyone tried to do animal heads on a plaque? I saw a couple deer and something else at Michael’s, but they didn’t look very well done. It’s basically a deer head constructed of rows of various profile depths. Did a quick search on here and didn’t find anything. Thought it would be cool to do myself. Maybe even random animals or mythical creatures.

I basically needed something to go off of to try and make more types of “heads on a plaque” type thing.
