I’ve been gradually upgrading my 500mm carve to a 1000mm, and now have all the rails and a drag chain kit from the 500mm set up that are collecting dust. Also have some extra lengths of extrusion and the mounts for the sideboard kit that I’ll throw in. All you’d need is some MDF and some cutting to make your own sideboard (costs $49 new)
Anyone interested? You’d still need the plates, hardware, bearings, controller, spindle, motors, etc. I priced it all out and it looks like if you run it with an arduino instead of the x controller you could get everything else you need for around 300 if you run it off of a spindle instead of a router.
Rails are in great structural shape but may have nicks and scratches here and there. I’d also be willing to hear trade offers.
