3D software?

Hi can any one help I was wanting to progress to 3d carving but can not afford any thing like Vetric .
Is there any other free or cheep software a viable? Thanks

There are a few apps which are free as in beer to some degree on the commercial software page as well: Shapeoko CNC Router, Rigid, Accurate, Reliable, and Affordable — notable Autodesk Fusion 360 and OnShape.
